Exploring Potential Best Altcoins for 2024 Altseason

Bittime a crypto asset investment platform officially registered in Indonesia, projects that the altcoin season or altseason is imminent. This is expected to liven up the crypto asset market leading up to the Bitcoin halving event.

Altcoin season, in contrast to the Bitcoin season, is a cycle within the crypto asset market. Both altseason and Bitcoin season cycles indicate an increase in the performance of respective crypto assets.

These two cycles are used to describe periods when the crypto asset market experiences a surge in value. Historically, these cycles tend to alternate since sustained increases in crypto asset values are typically not long-lasting from a psychological perspective.

"Basing on Blockchain Center data, the Altcoin Season Index currently shows that altseason is approaching," says Bittime CEO Ryan Lymn.

The Altcoin Season Index is calculated when 75 percent of the top 50 coins outperform Bitcoin during the previous season in the last 90 days.

"At present, the Altcoin Season Index shows a figure of 76 out of 100, indicating that we are getting closer to altseason. Market participants should start preparing to leverage this momentum to enhance their portfolio performance," he adds.

Ryan explains that having knowledge about crypto asset seasons like altseason can provide many opportunities for traders looking to boost their portfolio performance. Each market cycle can be a crucial indicator of which crypto assets are likely to increase or decrease in value.

"Understanding the cycles and seasons in the crypto asset market can assist traders and investors, especially in determining which crypto assets to buy at low prices and sell at high prices when their season arrives, to maximize returns," he emphasizes.

Furthermore, Ryan hopes that this altcoin season cycle will contribute to boosting crypto asset market activity in Indonesia. This is particularly related to the growing positive trends in trading volume and value of crypto asset transactions in Indonesia.

"Bittime, as a crypto asset investment platform officially registered in Indonesia, certainly hopes that altseason can become one of the drivers of market activity. We always believe that Indonesia has tremendous potential in the global crypto asset industry," he states.

As known, the Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency (Bappebti) recorded a total crypto transaction value for the period of January to November 2023 reaching IDR 122 trillion. The number of customers since the regulation of crypto assets until November 2023 reached 18.25 million customers.

Altcoins List to Consider During the 2024 Altseason

In this altcoin season of 2024, there are several crypto assets worth considering. Bittime's research team has compiled a list of interesting altcoins for various reasons.

Bittime's research team has been monitoring many altcoins since the previous period. Some altcoins worth considering this altseason include SOL, TIA, AVAX, ETH, ADA, and MANTA.

Solana (SOL)

Solana has recently gained attention for reintroducing a smartphone. Through Solana Mobile, they claim to have received 30,000 pre-orders for the smartphone within just 30 hours of its launch.

Solana is popular in the crypto asset world for its impressive scalability, low transaction costs, and very fast transaction speeds. Solana is also one of the few crypto assets partnering with Visa.

Celestia (TIA)

Celestia garnered much attention before its launch in October 2023. Apart from being supported by many leading crypto exchanges since its launch, Celestia's technical concept is considered intriguing, supporting a modular blockchain network.

With an ecosystem ready to bring in many developers to support it, Celestia is set to change the way we think about blockchain and distributed ledger technology.

Avalanche (AVAX)

Avalanche is a blockchain network aiming to provide a decentralized platform for creating and managing decentralized financial applications (DeFi).

Avalanche has characteristics that can propel it to the forefront of the blockchain race. They use a consensus protocol called the optimized Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) consensus mechanism, allowing fast transaction speeds and scalability.

Ethereum (ETH)

This name may not need questioning for crypto asset traders and investors. Especially now, Ethereum's name is rising further after BlackRock supported the idea of launching an Ethereum ETF, just a day after the Bitcoin spot ETF was launched.

Ethereum remains the second-largest crypto asset in the world after Bitcoin. Since pioneering the concept of smart contracts in 2015, Ethereum has consistently been the first to support almost all new blockchain innovations.

Cardano (ADA)

Cardano is a blockchain supporting smart contracts, staking to earn yields when validating transactions and securing the network, and is scalable.

Cardano is viewed as a third-generation crypto asset designed to build a universal financial protocol that will evolve on its own. Its technology can provide financial services access to people without bank accounts.

Manta Network (MANTA)

Manta Network is a modular ecosystem built for next-generation scalable dApps. Manta Network offers a good ecosystem to meet the scalability demands of dApps. This ecosystem uses a modular approach to meet the changing market needs for current and future dApps.

From DeFi, games, to social communities, applications deployed on Manta are designed to provide a unique experience. The Manta Ecosystem Grants program is designed to explore and develop new use cases to address user challenges.

For information, Bittime has been operating since 2022 and currently provides hundreds of crypto assets with low transaction fees and admin fees.

Additionally, Bittime also has attractive product features to meet user needs. Recently, Bittime listed several coins that are currently popular in the market, including PEOPLE, CTK, MASK, ACA, SHRAP, MAGIC, BEAM, AR, and MANTA.
