Socrates Takes a Bold Step into the NFT World with Pioneer Pens

Socrates, the leading Debate-to-Earn SocialFi platform in the crypto world, has recently announced a significant evolution in its ecosystem with the launch of Pioneer Pens, ushering users into a new phase of online intellectual interaction and blockchain integration.

This move created a new momentum on January 11, as Socrates decided to revamp its community engagement model by upgrading all existing SBT Pens to innovative Pioneer Pens, Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) based on the ERC-721 standard.

This adjustment marks a shift from the current ERC-1155 standard, introducing the uniqueness and exchangeability offered by NFTs. Each Pioneer Pen is crafted with a unique design, serving as a visual representation of its owner.

The purpose of these designs is not only to showcase user creativity but also to encourage them to form new thoughts and express their personal views or ideas.

Since January 12, these Pens have been available for purchase and trade on the marketplace within the Socrates app, providing users with new opportunities to engage in an increasingly dynamic ecosystem.

According to Wells, the shift to Pioneer Pens is a strategic step to enhance the user experience. Users can participate in various activities to enrich their Pioneer Pens with different attributes.

In this context, Pioneer Pens are considered empowering tools. Each Pen becomes a reflection of the owner's identity and intelligence within the Socrates platform. This opens the door to a level of personalization and engagement never seen before in the SocialFi space.

Socrates itself has marked this step as part of its initiative to build a 360° instant reward ecosystem. Users are given the opportunity to earn rewards through various interactions on the platform, including voting, commenting, liking, answering multiple-choice questions, and showing support.

Alongside the introduction of Pioneer Pens, Socrates launched the Pop Quiz feature on January 13. This feature allows users to interact with questions from other users that are broadcasted live for 30 minutes.

Correct answers will instantly reward participants, while the question creators earn points if the answers are incorrect.

The first-season SOC airdrop competition is also a highlight, with users having the chance to earn rewards through participation. This airdrop utilizes Socrates governance tokens and runs until January 21.
